Baby in the womb hiccups

This few days, I noticed and feel my baby has hiccups. Morning and night I feel it. Before I heard some of my friends that they will know their unborn child was hiccuping inside their womb. At first, I just ignored and thought it might be a constant movement. Until the other day, kinda worried a little bit because I felt more powerful constant pumping my belly. What's going on inside my womb??? Was my baby alright? Of course, I'm a first time mom and still learning everything especially through this pregnancy.

When I posted on my facebook about it one of my friend commented yes my son was hiccupping. What I'm gonna do next, I retorded. She also suggested that I need to drink a glass of water and be comfortable where I am. It works!!!. The constant hiccups keep going couple time during the day and even early morning. So I decided to do some research and learn more about it. I want to know if this is just normal. Why baby in the womb has hiccups.

I was kinda worrying a little bit if he is okay inside. Anyway, this is what I learn from doing my research about hiccups.

Hiccups can be a big worry for many pregnant women and new moms. Why does their baby have them? Is their baby in pain from them? What can they do about them? Rest assured, most of the time the baby is not in pain, and the mother is more bothered by the fact that the hiccups have appeared, than the baby is having them.

Hiccups in Utero

Pregnant women often mention feeling their baby having hiccups while in the womb and wonder what causes this. These hiccups can start in the first trimester, but won’t be felt by mom until late in the second trimester or during the third trimester. Rarely do the hiccups bother the mother-to-be, however some moms might worry that it is hurting their baby.

The exact cause of your baby’s hiccups is unknown. However, many specialists believe that your baby’s hiccups may be helping to strengthen the diaphragm muscle in order to help the baby breathe both in the womb and once they are born. In many cases your baby will have the hiccups at the same time everyday.

Not only can hiccups be felt by the mom-to-be, but it can also be detected during an ultrasound and picked up on a Doppler while at the doctor’s office for a routine visit. After a woman has been assured that these hiccups are normal and are not bothering their baby, then they become something that can be looked forward to on a daily basis, much like their baby kicking.

Hiccups After Birth

If your baby had hiccups while in utero, it is very plausible that he will have the hiccups after he is born. Some babies that did not have them in utero may still have them after birth. Hiccups can start after birth as early as the day your baby is born. Like the hiccups your baby might have had in utero, these hiccups are generally not painful for your baby.

Hiccups after birth occur when the diaphragm muscle contracts causing your baby to take quick short breaths. Normally these hiccups go away after only a few minutes. If they are really bothering you, try burping your baby more often during feedings. To get them to stop you can try to feed your baby whether you are nursing or bottlefeeding. The constant sucking and swallowing can help that muscle relax and help the hiccups stop.

Deadbolt lock

With my previous job back in Philippines  I usually run errands going to the bank.  Depositing and widrawing money.   Sometimes I exchange the dollar to Piso.  The bank employees knew me so I can go earlier to the bank or sometimes kinda late already when it was very neccessary.  Our contact person inside the bank keep their collections of the day inside the deadbolt lock.  This is the safest place to keep the money.  Only few of the worker knew the password and this is difficult to open.  Actually when the building have fire is not easy to burn all the paper money inside because it sealed properly.  So when you think you have very sensitive documents need to keep maybe deadbolt lock drawer is the best place to put them.

Digging presents!!!

Last Saturday at 1-3pm my church family and friends gave me baby shower. I really enjoy it aside from being the star of the day, I received plenty of gifts for our son. My heart leap for joy seeing those people who came all on Saturday afternoon to join me celebrate the mother-to-be. I was thrilled and tickled when my inlaws spent their weekend with us. By the way, they gonna give me baby shower again in 2 weeks.

I had no clue who could make it. I knew some people who been asking me when I'm gonna have a shower. At first, I wondering if they like me or theirs somebody who would love to attend my baby shower. I invited my other Filipina friend to come and join us.

The whole afternoon were filled of fun, food, drinks and fellowship. Though not all of them made it but some of them dropped off their presents and leave because their sons had ballgames at the same time. What do you expect when you have baby showers. Gifffftttttsssss!!! Yes! Yes! Yes! My son received all kinds of presents. I felt love and overwhelmed with joy. Finally we got so much stuff for him. Like everything we needed for a new born baby been provided. God is sooo gooood!!! He deserve all our praises and adorations. Now, we started sorting his stuff in his temporary room. Started ebaying

I shopped on online sometimes...actually, I got addicted sometimes-hehehe. Two days ago while hubby was cleaning in our spare room to prepare for our son's arrival he found one sealed packed tri color ink. He thought it would be nice if we sell it rather that throwing away. Little penny helps!!! Since our printed got busted that ink was set in the hiding place. It would not be use in my sister-in-laws printer because they have different model. We all know color printing is more attractive and emphasize. So what we did we are selling on ebay right now that piece of ink. Hope someone would bid and like it!

Restaurant job

When I started looking for a job here in Arkansas last year I could hardly find one. I'm so glad that my sister-in-law knew someone who runs the fastfood restaurant. She asked this guy if there's a way I can work with them if they needed more employees. Her friend just told her that I need to go and see him. When I got there he simply handed me the application paper for me to fill up. After that, he hired me and let me start the next day. That was quick!!! On my first day, I was watching the video about the company and learn how they do their excellent customer service. It bored me but it helps me understand what I'm going to do there. Later on, they taught me to use the cash registry and how to get the customers order. We are POS systems in the restaurant to manage the order and the payment of our customers. I love working there but later on, I decide to focus in the other job and my schooling.

Got our baby stroller and carseat today!!!

Not to mention who sent it to us...we finally received our baby stroller and carseat. The store delivered directly to our house today. I received an email from my mother-in-law last Monday informing us to watch out for stroller and carseat in 7-10 days because it's on the way. Wow, so amazing how fast it get here in Arkansas...God is faithful providing the needs of our son.

Since we are new parents we had no idea what is best carseat and stroller. We searched online and read reviews of every customers experience about the stroller/carseat they have. So glad the person who sent to us knew what is good and best for our child. She want nothing but best for our little one. I'm blessed for family and friends who are around us and thinking for our son too. Oh, the color is neutral-it's hard to find the exact color you really wanted but I do like it. My hubby and I saw this one in the store and we like it so much. So here it is!!!!

Security cameras

My hubby and I are thinking to put security cameras around our house and in our baby boy bedroom soon. We look online and search which cameras are good. We find several that easy to set-up and very impressive. In fact, there are some people who wrote reviews in each brand. 

We are thinking that when we separate our boy from us we can check on him every now and then. There are security cameras that would easy to connect with computers and laptops. Those are the cameras that we are looking for. Right now, we didn't chose anything yet. We are still looking for good deals and can handle with our budget. 

Travelling with RV

One of my husband Aunt and husband always travel with their RV. When they come up here in Little Rock and we got a chance to visit them we did it. We often grilled out, chitchat, walk in the park or do some garage hopping on some Saturdays. They own a nice RV which make them convenient on their long travels and safety home. I'm sure they bought insurance for their Rv in case there's something wrong happen. Are you looking for rv insurance quote? Ask your insurance agent near where you at. Flash Art Photography

My friend at work just started her photography business.  She was looking for models who will help her promote her photography skills and artworks.  It's good thing I got pregnant when we became good, good friends.  She asked me if I'm willing to be the preggy model. I love to be in the picture and I said "yes"!.

When I told my husband about it he never had problem for me to doing photoshoot with my friend.  He agreed and accompany me when we took this outdoor picture.  Besides, he was convinced to be on some of my pictures too.  That was a great experience and working in the different field at the same time.

I think my friend did a great job.  Actually she didn't handed me all the picutes yet.  She has to do some editing and whatever things to make it look more better I guess.  This is one of my favorite picture and she took. I was 28 weeks and 4 days at that time. 

Was funny because while she was taking my pictures my son kept moving all over my belly.  She was amazed how active my baby boy is.  I'm looking forward for another preggy photography session to one of our friend from church soon. 

Baby announcements

Do I need to work on baby announcements? Well, pretty much everybody knows that my hubby and I are expecting a baby boy this October 10th. God is so gracious to us for giving the desires of your heart. I am thinking that we will send out baby announcement later on after our baby's born. Hopefully I will remember to do it or remind my in-laws to do it for me. They are proud as we parents. They are looking forward to see their first grandson. So funny how my father-in-law keep thinking and dreaming what our son gonna do when he is going to visit his grandparents. My Father-in-law thought we gonna haller the boy out the soybeans field since he raise soybeans every year. They can't wait to play with their grandson soon.  What I'm gonna say, 76 days to go!
